Kenduri Cheese Tarts

Last saturday i got the chance to make these yummy cheese tartlets... sedap memang sedap... but not as sedap as yang Kak Ros buat.... fikir punya fikir... i know the reason lah... dulu tu makan ramai2 dengan my darling sisters dan sebab Kak Ros yang buat...
yang ni buat sendiri... makan pulak sorang2(almost!)....pastu filling dia yg mistake... i used wildberry filling.... rasa dia pelik sket bagi orang yang tak biasa (like me lah)...

I made some without fruit filling for my DS no:1... he wont take any kind of fruit...so for him i just put cheese filling.... i tried one of his...mmmm sedap!...then i put some strawberry jam on it....mmmm...laaagi sedap....
So...moral of the story...next time nak buat lagi but nak guna strawberry filling or blueberry filling...

Tapi kan dalam tak sedap tak sedap wildberry filling tu kan..... me dah makan dalam 10 bijik juga....hahaha...

Ps: Buat jangan tak buat....rugi tau...

A Beautiful Pinkeep From Ain

I never guessed that i would be Ain's partner... but thanks to our clever Adik Manis... i am the recipient of her gift... what a nice surprise....

So here it is ...show time!
What a pretty it is... the colour combination is so sweet ...but most of all i love the saying on it..." cross stitch forever...housework whenever".... yess..that is sooo me!...hihihi

Along with it she gave me lots of colourful buttons...ribbons flowers...felt and bobbins... oh i love them all... It is so very sweet of you, Ain...muahs!

A pinkeep for Ain

We had our Pinkeep Exchange recently and my partner is our sweet Ain... thank you Miss Organiser for letting her be my partner....
Well i am sure everyone has seen it on her blog but i am going to show it here one more time..... the pattern is Tiny Little Quaker from Papillon....

All the stitching was done during my holidays in Kelantan at my dear MIL's house

And a family photo before i send it to Ain personally... it was a bit late to sent it by post.... well... not really... actually, its just an excuse for me to see Ain again....hahaha

In Love With Crochet

Do i crochet?.... oh yes i do... i love to crochet tho' i am not very good at it.... i learned from the books...and the internet.... so there are lots of guessing game here.... of whether i am doing the right thing or not.... until today i am not sure of how to read certain patterns.... most of of the time i just 'hentam saja'... as long as my finish product resembles their picture... jadi la tu agaknyer...hehehe
Oh how i wish ada sifu yang boleh tunjuk hands on.... kalau Kak Reen or Mus ada dekat kan senang...?

Okay... i started this doily last December.... yes ..DECEMBER 2006..
I was so crazy about crochet then that i started 3 projects...ermmm 4 actually....naughty... naughty...naughty... its been a UFO until i made an effort to carry it around and crochet whenever i can (well... mostly in the car).... so i finished this doily last week....NOVEMBER 2007...



What happened to the other 3 projects?.... A shawl for my girl is completed on the spot...well because it is small and easy... the other two are tops for my girl... all at about 30% progress....hmmmm
And guess what?...last week me TERlaunch another baju project for her... "Mom...dah lupa ker baju saya dulu belum siap?" huhuhu... what can say... the little girl tops in the books look so adorable... i just can't help myself....

And kat bawah ni me tengah test drive pattern utk buat alas meja... its a combination of 2 different blocks ... they are quite easy to do.... just hope that i wont get bored doing the same thing over and over again... Kalau ada geng baru seronok buat ni...so anybody in for Crochet-A-Long table cloth? Jangan lupa....kita kan 'sedara'?

My Precious JE Frendship SAL

Hi there my dear friends...

Today is the day i have been waiting for... i just can't wait to announce that i have finally finished stitching my JE Friendship .... tak sangka la pulak... tiba2 dah TERsiap this morning...hehehe

Whoa.. what a great feeling .... after all the back stitches and not to mention the backache i have to endure in the last few days....

But look at it..... all the hard work is paid off.... as now, i have this beautiful and meaningful piece that i will cherish forever in the name of our friendship... (alahai.. jiwang la pulak makcik....)


I want thank you all my friends who have given me endless support to finish this SAL.... without you, i don't know when i will ever finish this project...
To all that have completed their SAL, CONGRATULATION!.... and for those are still working on it....KEEP STITCHING.... you will get there soon...

First of all... i am so sorry for not updating this blog for quite a while.... i' ve been extremely busy these days(so is everybody,i guess)..... so many things to do and yet so little time ...

Well...Ramadhan is almost over.... and tomorrow is already Hari Raya....How is every body doing? I miss you all terribly.....I always wonder what all my dear stitching sisters are up to.... i can guess that some are busy making hari raya cookies, some are busy sewing...some are busy shopping...some are already balik kampung .....but i am sure all of us are busy preparing for Hari Raya....

Sempena Syawal yang akan menjelang ni Kakda nak ambil kesempatan untuk mengucapkan Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Fitri...untuk semua kawan-kawan yang jauh di mata tetapi selalu dekat di hati...terutamanya Index, Mus, Lindt, Dania(&Bebe D), Mas, Zura, Kak Ros, Kak Reen, Salmi, Ain, Elin, Ana, Yasmin, Azie, Sis Dina, Honeydew, Ratu Lybeau, Angel(sure nak raya gak ni)...Maaf Zahir Dan Batin

JE Friendship SAL Update

Hi all.... hows the long weekend?... i' been home most of the time working very hard on my much neglected SAL... i am quite happy with my progress... this time i concentrate on speed... i don't care much about neatness anymore... i hope to get 2nd shelf done before Ramadhan...

Puasa nanti, i have to jahit baju raya pulak... quite a handful tho'... for me and my girl sepasang dua... for my 2 boys sepasang sorang(part ni yang lemahnya...baju melayu cekak musang!! adeh..) And...i have a this big angan2 too... this year i want to make one for dear hubby... never in my life have i make one for him... always tempah jer...
Well...lets see if i can do all that... from past experiences... last2 nanti, i just jump to Plan B.... baju melayu tu, beli jer Ready Made....huhuhu..

Oppst... melencong jauh plak from SAL update...
Since i didnt post an update last month, here are some pictures i took about a month ago... special location...tu Dataran Merdeka tau...MERDEKA!!

oh ya... this is our new family... Si Budak Cicak... dah macam2 nama we gave him... but we end up calling him Budok... memang noti budok ni... abis dia tackel makcik2 tu semua..Sangquity, Anakonda and Buttercup..
